Partner Development Manager

Job description

Opinum is looking for a Partner Development Manager to join the Opinum project team.

Opinum is a SaaS company surrounded by an open ecosystem of partners. Partners fall into two categories: 

  • System Integrators who provide consultancy services and IT integration for customers willing to integrate our Data Hub into their IT landscape
  • Marketplace partners who enrich the Data Hub with proprietary solution to ease data access or provide AI/ML capabilities 

The initial phase for this role will consist in identifying partnership opportunities and enroll new partners that will fit into our strategic growth plan. Beyond the first phase, the successful candidate will be expected to nurture existing partnerships to drive more opportunities and help build the sales pipes for both partners and Opinum. 

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Be the primary contact for multiple partners involved in the water & energy industry
  • Encourage and collaborate with new partners in order to get them "activated", which means (1) create GTM campaign and (2) start generate new leads
  • Become an expert in energy data management and become the trusted advisor to each of your partners
  • Provide coaching and support to help our partners to leverage the Data Hub open eco-system
  • Build a long term relationship with partners to manage account retention and renewal
  • Drive upgrade revenue from new product build by partners on the Marketplace
  • Meet and exceed monthly quotas - both MRR and new activated partners

Job requirements

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Prior experience with sales or partner management team
  • Experience working with business owners and marketers
  • A verifiable track record of consistently meeting and exceeding revenue goals
  • A firm grasp of how businesses work, including sales, consultative, problem solving, and issue resolution skills
  • Clear and articulate communication skills and the ability to effectively drive a phone/web conversation
  • Phenomenal organizational skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • An excellent knowledge of the energy and/or water industry
  • A good overall knowledge of the big data industry
  • Excellent French and English communication skills (both oral and written). Additional language skills is a bonus
